INTEGRA AES – READY FOR THE FUTURE WITH BIM
In order to provide our customers with the benefits of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method, INTEGRA AES is achieving the transformation of its internal operational processes. Although it is for now an optional working method, BIM is transforming the construction industry at an international level and it will gradually become a compulsory requirement in Italy within 2025.
INTEGRA AES has been smoothly incorporating new tools and skills in order to implement the BIM approach.
Regarding the tools, we opted for Autodesk Revit® as a BIM application and our staff has recently attended a training course for this software. During the course, provided by an Autodesk Platinum Partner, the participants have covered the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit Architecture®.
Regarding the skills, BIM is now an essential requirement in the recruitment of our technical staff and our goal is to form an entire internal department including the roles of BIM Manager, BIM coordinator, BIM operator and BIM specialist, ready to respond future challenges.
