O ur experts provided the NATO with a Tier 3

hardened C2 facility design intended to resolve
security, health & safety and capacity issues of the
existing building and the design for a Back-up Power
Station, two sport fields and other refurbishment of
surrounding external areas.
Due to the threat in the area, blast assessments have
determined the design and the dimensions of
structural elements of the building, the thickness of
external walls and of the roof slab.
While the roof floor has been arranged to
accommodate HVAC equipment, the other floors have
been arranged into five different functional areas:
working areas (shared and single office),
14 support/service areas, connection/circulation areas, 15
toilets and system areas. Special systems included:
Fire detection and alarm and Public Address systems,
Access Control System, CCTV and Intrusion
Detection Systems, Anti-flooding systems, BMS.
