ANNUAL REPORT ON ITALIAN ENGINEERING
On the 12th of July, the OICE (Association representing Italian engineering, architectural and technical economic consulting organizations) has released its 34th annual survey: a study on the performance of the engineering sector. Again this year, INTEGRA AES supports this initiative and sponsored the publication.
The optimistic signs of growth that were observed last year are being confirmed by a steady increase in the production value, which is more significant in the energy and transport sectors.
The “Made in Italy” brand, known as a guarantee of quality engineering, contributes to the export growth. The fastest-growing market is the Middle-East which represents 40% of export.
INTEGRA AES is in line with those trends, in particular with regard to the growth of activities in the Middle East (Jordan and Iraq) and mainly due to the investments in infrastructures made by the International Donors in developing countries.
Hence this survey provides valuable data that INTEGRA AES uses to define the future strategies of the company. At present, our efforts are focused on Research and Development, with the development of a new smart platform ResourceStorage® and on the development of new BIM tools and skills.
