Start of Works for the Tyrrhenian Link Construction Site
The works for the Work Supervision assignment entrusted by Terna Rete Italia to INTEGRA AES have officially begun. The project involves the construction of a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) substation connecting Sicily and Sardinia. The construction site in Termini Imerese has kicked off on both planned sections: the Eboli (SA) – Termini Imerese (PA) route, known as “Eastern Link,” and the Selargius (CA) – Termini Imerese (PA) route, referred to as “Western Link.”
On-site, a Works Director, two Operational Directors, and a Site Inspector are already working as part of the Work Supervision team, ensuring full compliance with the project’s timeline and quality standards.
This assignment not only marks the beginning of a major infrastructure project but also further strengthens the trust and collaboration between Terna Rete Italia and INTEGRA AES, reinforcing the latter’s role in managing complex and innovative energy projects.
