The Italian Minister of Defense Roberta Pinotti has inaugurated yesterday the new training center of the Iraqi Police in Baghdad, Camp Dublin.
A contingent of Italian Carabinieri is based in Camp Dublin to train the Iraqi federal Police Forces tasked with operations to be conducted in critical areas.
For this project, consisting in the Refurbishment of the center, INTEGRA AES was in charge of the Final Design and Works Supervision.
The inaugurated center was funded by the European Union through the “Instrument for the Stability and Peace” (IcSP) and executed in the framework of the Project POTRAI (Support to pre-deployment capacity of the police in Iraq).
With this latest achievement, INTEGRA AES, who has been involved in other important projects in IRAQ (see Mosul Dam), Afghanistan and Jordan, confirms its presence in the Middle-East.
