ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION
The asbestos removal works of the former Donato military compound in Rome have been successfully completed.
INTEGRA AES (leader of the JV), was commissioned by the Agenzia del Demanio, to design, supervise the works and coordinate safety, to remove the asbestos roofing on about ten sheds of the former Donato compound and then to install new lighter roofing.
A meticulous monitoring campaign was carried out during the works to ensure the air quality of this sensitive site, since it is located near a residential area.
The intervention, aimed at restoring the usability of buildings and at improving the quality of the environment is in line with the principles of environmental protection that INTEGRA AES is committed to support through the environmental certification ISO 14001:2015 and as a signatory of the UN Global Compact initiative.
