ANNUAL SURVEY A&E SECTOR
INTEGRA AES supports the OICE Annual Survey 2020 on trends of Italian Architecture and Engineering companies sector, which has been presented to the public last 13th October.
The report highlights a positive trend for the sector in 2019, with an increase of turnover of 8.4% and the number of employees growing of 5.6%.
For 2020, the negative effects due to the COVID-19 pandemic are clear, which is expected to lead to a decline in turnover but, surprisingly, not to a decrease in number of employees.
Overall, a strong resilience capacity emerges in the architecture and engineering consultancy sector which has well faced, especially in Italy, the impact of the pandemic. This is also thanks to the fact that the production of services did not stop, not even during the lockdown of March-May 2020.
