FAO Conference Room: INTEGRA AES proposal selected as finalist
The concept design proposed by INTEGRA AES has arrived at the final selection stage in a call for proposal issued by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) concerning the ‘Iraq Multi-Function Facilitation Room’, within the Headquarters building of the Organization in Rome.
It has been quite a challenging task to conceive such a design, due to the special requirements expressed by FAO. The Room, indeed, shall be used both for large formal sessions and meeting/training events, possibly to take place at the same time. As a consequence, it must be possible to divide and arrange the Room into multiple configurations — each of which allowing for at least six language interpretation channels, with a control booth/room.
