ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY MEETS THE STANDARD
INTEGRA AES constantly pursues the objectives established by the standards of the UN Global Compact. To this extent, INTEGRA AES also promotes the approach to the design of buildings with the goal of obtaining the LEED certification. This is the case of some buildings in the UNHRD compound in Brindisi. The commitment related to LEED certification requires a holistic approach right from the design phase, integrating the criteria of good construction with those of environmental sustainability. INTEGRA AES follows the entire LEED process, passing through the acquisition of GBC assessments, up to the Quality Assurance activity, assuring the compliance of the works with the design guidelines, in view of the final certification. The strategic value of these principles for INTEGRA AES is also confirmed by the possession of the ISO 14001 certification for the Environmental Management System.
