The consultancy work supported the Public Authorities in the feasibility and preliminary design activities for the F1 Gran Prix of Rome, in the monumental EUR district. The feasibility of the sport event was subordinated to the implementation of a program of complex urban planning, as well as legal and administrative issues to plan a new viaduct in Via Cristoforo Colombo, two new buildings, temporary structures, along with new sports facilities and the reorganization of the road network and urban areas near Via delle Tre Fontane. Among the key competences the service included the coordination of the stakeholders, managing internal communications among the Municipal Authorities, the private promoter Roma Formula Futuro and the other subjects involved.
Furthermore, the consultancy work concerned also the technical and economic assessment and the quality and compatibility control of the project. Because of the impact of the event and its construction schedule on the transportation system, an analysis of the whole process (the most effective administrative procedures in the preliminary phase, execution of the projects) was carried out.
