The rehabilitation works were carried out in compliance with the stabilization and recovery program, outlined in the final design. The main phases included clearing and weeding works, the detachment of any precarious rock element, the filling of the missing parts, the strengthening of the existing wall mortar and the realization of the tufa-rock walls. The last phase, on the other hand, regarded the stabilization of the wall surfaces through the use of resins and the installation of a metal mesh to prevent the potential falling of tufa rocks.
