Villa Sarsina, built in the XVIII century on the ruins of the Caesar’s villa in front of the ancient Nerone’s peer in Anzio, was born as villa-fortress, then transformed in institutional building by the Aldobrandini family and currently belonging to the Municipality. The design, through a static consolidation of the slabs, aimed at strengthening the structure of the edifice; while, by means of moisture-preventing plasters, water infiltrations were prevented. Finally, particular attention was paid to the level of natural and mechanical ventilation.
