INTEGRA AES plays the role of design phase safety coordinator (CSP) in this project and is also working on the executive design of two new hangars for the storage of six AW 169 helicopters, the construction of an adjoining building to serve the Line and Maintenance the positioning of a ‘Bresciani’-type hangar tent for the storage of a further six helicopters, the refurbishment of the heated forecourt, lighting systems to ICAO standards, and a helicopter washing and refuelling system. A ventilation system for air renewal in conformity with UNI 10339 or ASHRAE 62.1 is foreseen for the three Hangars. Hangars H1 and H2 will host a total of six helicopters and each helicopter bay will be equipped with a removable floor column with a compressed air supply point, hoover, power supply and a grounding well for the safe connection of the helicopter during operations. The modular hangar tent type ‘Bresciani’ will also house six helicopters, there will be no removable columns, but only removable installations and a single grounding shaft.
